SIGNING ON TO SIGN OFF
Yeah, I know. Bad blogger! The past several weeks have been all work, all the time, and until they start paying me to blog, well... you know how it goes.

Worse yet, I am only popping in to send you holiday greetings and wish you the best for the New Year. Early tomorrow I board a flight at JFK, and by late morning I'll be in Denver. I'll need the R&R, because when I return at the end of next week it's back to the grind: the demands of the day job, a batch of books to read, and -- oh yeah -- a novel I still have to write.

Not to mention the drinking I have to do. Damn! There aren't enough hours in the day!

So be good boys and girls, and we'll catch up in 2008. XO!
